Help produce fresh, local and healthy veggies and fruits for the community!
TIMES: The Farm is open on Mondays from 9 - 4:00 P.M. Wednesdays from 1 - 4:00 P.M. and Fridays from 1 - 4:00 P.M. LOCATION: Seattle Community Farm is located at the corner of S. Lilac and Martin Luther King Junior Way S., behind the Rainier Valley Housing. Find Directions here. Parking is available nearby at ACRS' main facility which is 6 minutes away. TASKS: The Seattle Community Farm is looking for ongoing support to sustain our ability to produce healthy, locally sourced food. We’ll be clearing garden beds, weeding, planting, harvesting and some light farm maintenance depending on the time of year. No experience is required, and all equipment will be provided. The food that is grown at the farm is then distributed to our community through the ACRS Food Bank and Club Bamboo Kitchen.
